Ingredients:
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare Dough:
If you’re using store-bought pizza dough, let it come to room temperature.
If you’re making your own, follow the recipe instructions until you have a ball of pizza dough.
Roll Out the Dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle of about 12×18 inches.
Add Cheese and Pepperoni:
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the surface of the dough.
Arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
Roll the Dough:
Starting from one of the longer edges, tightly roll the dough into a log.
Cut Into Sticks:
Using a sharp knife, cut the rolled dough into 1-inch wide sticks.
You should end up with about 12-15 bread sticks.
Place on Baking Sheet:
Place the bread sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving some space between each stick.
Brush with Olive Oil:
Brush the tops of the breadsticks with olive oil.
This will help them brown and become crispy in the oven.
Seasoning:
In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Sprinkle this seasoning mix over the bread sticks.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bread sticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve:
Allow the breadsticks to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
