Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

Grease a round or square cake pan with oil or line it with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Sifting helps to remove lumps and aerate the dry ingredients.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, mix together the water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract.

Ensure that the mixture is well combined.

Combine Dry and Wet Mixtures:

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Do not overmix, as it can affect the texture of the cake.

Bake:

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool:

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Optional: Frosting or Ganache (if desired):

Once the cake has cooled, you can frost it with your favorite frosting or drizzle it with chocolate ganache.

Serve:

Slice and serve the delicious eggless chocolate cake!

It’s great on its own or with a scoop of ice cream.

Enjoy your homemade Egg less Chocolate Cake!
