Venezuelan-American Noelia Voigt crowned Miss USA 2023

Utah native Noelia Voigt won Miss USA 2023. The 23-year-old Venezuelan-American beauty with brains won Miss USA over 50 previous titleholders. It was difficult to win against 51 contenders, including 27-year-old Tempe Police Department officer Candace Kanavel of Arizona.

Over the evening, 20 candidates were chosen. Noelia Voigt, Savannah Gankiewicz, Pennsylvania's Jasmine Daniels, Texas's Lluvia Alzate, and Wisconsin's Alexis Loomans were the top five. Under inspection in the swimsuit and evening gown rounds, the finalists showed their grace and elegance.

The last Q&A round does distinguish the extraordinary from the exceptional. In response to the question of how she would help Miss Universe as a “brand ambassador” and Miss USA, Noelia Voigt described herself as a “bilingual Venezuelan-American.”

She pledged to interact with many groups around the US, emphasizing inclusiveness and togetherness in a beautiful nation.

The judging panel included actress Vivica A. Fox, former “Real Housewife” Luann de Lesseps, and beauty YouTuber Patrick Starrr.

Given the extraordinary qualities of all candidates, their mission was difficult. However, Noelia Voigt's reaction and dedication to building relationships impressed the judges and audience.

The Miss USA 2022 title exchange was emotional when R'Bonney Gabriel, who won Miss Universe, left. Morgan Romano lovingly handed up the crown to Noelia Voigt. As Miss USA 2023, Noelia has new obligations and possibilities.

Noelia Voigt will represent the US as Miss USA 2023. She will compete for Miss Universe and do promotional and philanthropic work.
