This Is Chris Hemsworth's Exact Meal and Exercise Plan

He eats eight meals a day.

For Chris Hemsworth, his diet consists of more than simply breakfast, lunch, and dinner while he's preparing to portray Thor. Luke Zocchi, Hemsworth's trainer, reveals in an interview with Page Six that the actor eats a lot more than he usually does to gain weight for the part.

He eats every two hours.

Hemsworth spreads up his eight meals over the course of the day, eating half an hour apart, to make sure he's eating enough to gain muscle without becoming too lethargic to workout.

"These are eight 450-calorie meals because he found that if he eats a really big meal, he feels too heavy," Zocchi told Page Six. "We aim to consume 450 calories every two hours through our eating schedule."

He starts the day with a green shake.

To start off his day on the right foot, Hemsworth kicks off his meal plan with a daily smoothie.

Sergio Perera, a chef who works with Hemsworth, told Men's Health, "Chris' day always starts with a large green shake made up of 5–6 different types of leafy greens and vegetables, low-glycemic fruits, nuts, seeds, fats, and small amounts of sea salt to aid in electrolyte balance, nerve transmission, and glucose metabolism."

He fuels up with red meat.

Usually, Hemsworth increases his meat consumption to make sure he's getting enough protein to support his muscular growth.

Chris eats a little more red meat than he usually does, but he only does it during the day because it takes more energy to digest. This is assuming he doesn't train later in the evening, in which case his session may end with a lamb chop.

He does heavy lifting throughout the day.

While we are aware that this isn't an eating habit, we still think there is a connection between his training and eating habits. Hemsworth gets into incredible form for the role of Thor via more than just dietary adjustments.

"It's just heavy weight lifting, training at least once a day, sometimes twice a day," Zocchi described Hemsworth's exercise regimen to Page Six, adding that the actor incorporates boxing and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) into his regimen.
