The top spot goes to New Orleans, Louisiana, with an average humidity level of 76.3%.
Other cities in the top 5 include Jacksonville, Florida; Houston, Texas; Tampa, Florida; and Miami, Florida.
The data was collected from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and covers the period from 1979 to 2019.
The rankings were based on the average daily dew point, which is a measure of atmospheric moisture.
Humidity can have a significant impact on health and comfort, with high levels leading to increased risk of heat exhaustion and other heat-related illnesses.
