Powerball tops $1 billion after no jackpot winner Saturday night

After no ticket won the grand prize on Saturday night, the Powerball jackpot is predicted to increase to an estimated $1.04 billion for Monday's drawing, according to the lottery.

According to Powerball, the estimated cash value is $478.2 million.

The $960 million jackpot was won on Saturday night with the following numbers drawn: 19, 30, 37, 44, 46, and red Powerball 22. Two was the powerplay.

If the Mega Millions top prizes were taken into account, a winner on Saturday would have taken home the ninth-largest lottery jackpot and the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot in history.

The estimated cash value of the prize was $441.4 million. The money can be taken by the winners in 30 installments spread over 29 years, or as an instant lump sum payout.

After a ticket in California won the $1.08 billion prize on July 19, this is the second-largest Powerball jackpot of the year. The victor is still not in the picture.

Up until this past Saturday, 30 Powerball draws had gone without a big prize winner since that one. Thirteen as of right now.
